Canoeing
Canoeing is a great activity for all sections and there are several ways of introducing this to your section while allowing them to gain their Time on the Water, Nautical Skills and Paddle Sports award badge.
The District has several leaders with Canoeing Permits who can advise you on the best course for your section. Some options would be canoeing at Hesley Wood or why not paddle the Sheffield Canal?
Sheffield Canoe Club is also an option offering taster session to membership for those who want to pursue this activity as a sport.
