NIGHTS AWAY PERMIT

Nights away or residential events, whether camping, hostelling, sleepovers or bivouacs, form an integral part of scouting, and are something that every young person should have the opportunity to take part in.

A Nights Away Permit is required if you want to organise and run a Nights Away event for your section.

You might find the PDF Applicant’s Guide to the Nights Away Permit scheme useful, so that you understand what you will be assessed on.  More importantly please remember, completing module 16 and/or 38 of your adult training will not automatically assess you for a permit, but gaining a Nights Away permit will sign you off on these modules.

You will need to submit details of any previous Nights Away experience you have.  You should do this by completing the wordNights Away Experience Form and upload it in the application form below where instructed to do so.
