The current District of Doncaster Danum was formed in Feb 2004, Scouting in Doncaster though has much deeper roots.
In 2008 the District celebrated 100 Years of Scouting in Doncaster, and we continue to thrive today.
There are 26 active Scout Groups spread across the Doncaster Metropolitan Area of 219.3 sq mi. Each group offers its unique programme conforming to the National Set Standards, driving forward the Everyday Adventure. With over 1800 members we are the largest District in South Yorkshir
